Lever Frame Desk is a pocket workbench for heritage signal-box volunteers, railway ops students, and absolute-block learners who need the rules in their hands, not in a slide deck. Open a complete seed box—Ashcombe Terminus, Millford Crossing, or Cedar Halt—and work its numbered levers tinted by function: red signals, black points, blue facing-point locks, brown releases.

Every pull is checked against the interlocking matrix; blocked moves surface short reason cards such as “Up starter locked—facing-point lock 5 not in.” Set named routes in legal order, toggle detection lamps like a real frame, practice block-bell beats on a second-instrument panel, and walk fault drills with reminder collars until the box is safe again. No live network, no accounts, no maps sandbox—just tactile competence you can rehearse anywhere.

Complete seed boxes on day one

Choose Ashcombe Terminus (12), Millford Crossing (16), or Cedar Halt (8) and open a full brass-style frame with lever list, track diagram, and locking table already loaded.

Interlocking that explains itself

Pull or replace any lever; the matrix allows or blocks instantly and shows a plain reason card—facing-point lock not in, opposing call-on conflict, and more.

Named routes in legal order

Pick Platform 1 to Up Main, Down Main to Bay, or Shunt to Goods Spur and follow animated lever-order highlights until signals are free.

Block bells & fault drills

Practice call-attention, train-entering, out-of-section, and obstruction-removed beats with click audio; apply reminder collars and walk emergency release paths.

Detection lamps like the real box

Toggle point detection and FPL lamps on the frame diagram; signal levers stay locked until detection reads normal, matching mechanical behaviour.

Timed rehearsal & handoff card

Run a route-setting clock, review hits, blocks, and unfinished work, then render a frame briefing image for volunteer handoff—still fully offline.

Keep the box safe—offline

No live network, no maps sandbox, no gambling. Just levers, locks, bells, and plain reasons when a move is illegal.
